Our 12-week winter programs provide consistent, individualized coaching for softball athletes at every stage of development. Choose from pitching, hitting and advanced training options designed around each athlete's age and goals.
Each session is 60 minutes long.

Two pitchers work directly with one instructor to improve mechanics, command, pitch development and consistency in the circle.

A structured small-group program emphasizing efficient mechanics, quality spin, location and confident, repeatable movement patterns.

Our most comprehensive pitching option combines individualized pitching work with targeted velocity development and softball-specific mobility training.

Camps & clinics

Programs & lessons
Hitting, pitching, and catching lessons for softball players of all ages, offered year-round in individual and small-group formats. With our lesson packages, players are instructed by the same coach throughout the entire program.

Instructors
CG Softball Owner
Katie brings extensive playing and coaching experience to her role as owner of Complete Game Softball. A 2004 graduate of Roseville High School, she helped lead the Raiders to a state tournament appearance in 2003 and earned All-State honors her senior year. She previously held the MSHSL single-game strikeout record with 32 strikeouts in a 21-inning game and was a finalist for Metro Player of the Year in 2004. Katie continued her career at the University of Minnesota, where she was a four-year starter for the Golden Gophers.
Katie’s coaching background includes seven seasons as a varsity pitching coach at Hill-Murray (2014–2015), North St. Paul (2016–2017), and Elk River (2018–2020).
Since joining Complete Game in 2014, Katie has played a central role in developing its softball training programs. She served as Director of Softball, overseeing all CG fastpitch training before becoming the owner of Complete Game Softball.
Katie offers year-round pitching instruction focused on developing velocity, spin, and control. She trains more than 300 pitchers annually, working with athletes of all ages and skill levels. Throughout her time at CG, she has helped develop some of the top pitchers in the Twin Cities metro area.

A former College of Saint Benedict pitcher and 2025 graduate who trained under Katie Dalen through high school. Extensive camp, clinic, and private lesson experience.

A junior right-handed pitcher at Concordia University, St. Paul and member of the Golden Bears pitching staff, coaching pitchers of all ages.
Hitting & Catching Instructor
Four-year starter at catcher and outfield for the University of Rochester Yellowjackets. Multiple All-Conference and All-Region honors, and a team captain.
Hitting & Catching Instructor
St. Catherine University graduate, two-time MIAC Player of the Year and NFCA First Team All-American. Known for breaking down swings and creating immediate improvement.
Pitching Instructor
A former collegiate pitcher and utility player who finished her career at Augsburg University after Trinity International University and McHenry County College. All-MIAC honoree and MIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week, she brings strong pitching knowledge and a passion for building mechanics, confidence, and a competitive mindset. Current MN Moose 15U National Head Coach.
Pitching Instructor
A standout pitcher at the College of Saint Benedict and three-time All-MIAC selection, named 2024 MIAC Pitcher of the Year after a 10–1 conference record with a league-leading 1.32 ERA. She ranks among Saint Benedict's career leaders in wins, innings pitched, starts, complete games, shutouts, and appearances, and trained with Katie Dalen at Complete Game from age 10.
Pitching Instructor
Current St. Ben's assistant/pitching coach, former College of Saint Benedict pitcher and Maple Grove High School graduate. An All-MIAC honoree in 2025, she brings strong collegiate experience and a passion for helping young pitchers build mechanics, consistency, and confidence in the circle.

2025 Northwestern University (Roseville) graduate, NCCAA North Central Region Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference and First Team All-American. Experienced MN Moose coach.
Hitting & Catching Instructor
A former University of St. Thomas softball player, Sophia brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm to Complete Game. With extensive experience providing private lessons and leading clinics and camps, she works with athletes to develop their hitting, catching, and defensive skills.
