Erica Meyer


A four year starter for the University of Minnesota. She has several years of experience working many clinics and camps at the University of Minnesota. Erica is an excellent hitting coach and loves working with and developing softball players. This is Erica’s third year instructing at Complete Game. 

Bobby Lynch

Head coach at Irondale  High School.  Bobby is an excellent coach for our hitters.  Prior to Irondale, Bobby served as an assistant coach at Augsburg College, as well as an assistant at Mounds View High School.  This will be Bobby's 6th year instructing with Complete Game. 

Nate Hammes

Currently an assistant baseball coach at the University of St. Thomas.  Nate has many years of high level coaching experience. As a player, Nate was a two time all-conference performer at the University of St. Cloud State and was also named team captain. Nate then went on to play professionally for the St. Paul Saints and was part of their American Association Championship team in 2011. Nate will instruct players in multiple areas of the game up here at CG including hitting, pitching and catching.

Chad Schmidt

14th year instructing with Matt in this training program.  Excellent at teaching our hitters proper mechanics as well as developing their power.  A New Ulm native, Chad has instructed in the New Ulm youth program for six years and also coached their very successful American Legion team.  Chad also coached varsity baseball at Park Center for four years.

Jeff Stoll


Has coached varsity baseball in Minnesota for over 25 years between Champlin Park and Park Center.  Jeff has coached three teams that advanced to the Minnesota High School State Tournament.  He is great at teaching hitting and continues to work with some of our top hitters.  This will be Jeff's 14th year instructing with us in this program.


Abbey Nelson


A former member of the University of Minnesota Duluth softball team (2012-2016) from Blaine, MN.  Abbey was a catcher, outfielder and first baseman for the Bulldogs. In her senior season, they advanced to the Regional tournament and were NSIC champions. Abbey started training with Matt Faulken when she was 8 years old and has been instructing at Complete Game for three years. 

Matt Youngquist

Matt is in his 4th year as Complete Game instructor and Fall Club Coach. He was a four year starter at Concordia Moorhead University and was also team captain. Matt has coached baseball at many levels including Champlin Park American Legion, as well as serving as an assistant coach at St. Thomas Academy and South St. Paul High School. He is currently the head coach for the Centennial Legion team. Matt works with hitters and pitchers of all ages at Complete Game.


Kayla Wenner


A former member of the University of Minnesota softball team (2013-2016) from Nicollet, MN. Kayla was an outfielder for the Gophers. She was apart of some very successful teams during her time at the U and brings a wealth of knowledge. Kayla can work with slappers and hitters. This is Kayla's first year instructing at Complete Game. 

Matt Faulken (


Owner of Complete Game Training Center and Hitting Coach at the University of St. Thomas (2010 - 2012).  Matt helped the St. Thomas Tommies to their 3rd place finish at the NCAA Division 3 College World Series in 2012.  Played 3 years of professional baseball before beginning his own baseball and softball training program 15 years ago.  Matt works with over 1,000 ball players of all ages per year and over the last five years has trained a total of 275 players who have moved on to play college baseball or softball.

Katie Schober


Complete Game’s Fastpitch Director and Head Fastpitch pitching coach. Katie was a four-year starter at the University of Minnesota and has been an instructor at Complete Game for five years.  She is also an Assistant Varsity Coach at Elk River High School.  Katie offers year round pitching programs at Complete Game. She instructs pitches of all ages and trains many of the top pitchers in the metro.

Jordan Rice 

Jordan was a four year starter at the University of Minnesota-Duluth as well as a graduate of Totino-Grace High School.  After college, she coached for three seasons at St. Catherine University working primarily with hitters and catchers. Jordan currently serves as the head coach at Peak Physique Transformation Center. This is Jordan's first year instructing at Complete Game.
